Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism
April 9-10, 2011 New York, NY
This is a full day skeptical conference featuring lectures, panel discussions, and a live SGU recording – hosted by the NESS and the New York City Skeptics. Speakers include Phil Plait, John Rennie, Eugenie Scott, Carl Zimmer, and many more. The full list of speakers, plus registration, can be found on the NECSS website. The Amazing Meeting 9
July 14-17, 2011 Las Vegas, Nevada
This is a three-day skeptical extravaganza – the meeting that has developed into the annual meeting of the skeptical movement – hosted by the James Randi Educational Foundation. The SGU will be recording two live shows on Friday and Saturday morning. Dr. Novella will also be running two Science-Based Medicine workshops on Thursday.
